Happy New Year from the Atlanta Ag 4-H Club!
We would like to THANK all of those that supported our club in 2016.
Our club was honored to give back to our community. We entered a
float themed “American Heroes” in the Atlanta Fall Festival. 4-Hers
partnered with local heroes as we had volunteers from the Atlanta
Fire Department, Military, and the Atlanta EMT by riding in the
parade on the 1st place float.
4-Hers baked up a storm and donated three kinds of 4-H cookies from
different levels of 4-H project manuals. Monies awarded from this
event were given back to the community.
Club members delivered donations to HOOAH – Deer Hunt for Heroes,
Stanford, IL during a hunting event for Veterans at Funk’s Grove,
4-Hers were able to meet veteran’s and see HOOAH hunting event in
action; the Atlanta Fire Department; the Atlanta EMT and the Atlanta
Fall Festival Fund and also for kids at Christmas, presents to Toys
for Tots.
