LC Men Pick Up Road Win - The Lincoln College Men's
Basketball team traveled to Danville Area Community College on
Wednesday for an MWAC match-up with the DACC Jaguars.
LC started out strong in the first half by playing some stingy
defense and showing patience on the offensive end of the court.
Lincoln led by 9 at the half.

In the second half, LC continued to control the tempo of play and
extended their lead to 11 points with five minutes left in the game.
At that point, the Jags began putting LC shooters on the free throw
line. This proved to be an effective strategy as Lincoln was unable
			to convert several times.

DACC was able to reduce the lead to one point, but the Lynx defense
responded in the final seconds to halt the comeback and give LC a
			70-69 win.

Isiah Nelson lead the team with 20 points followed by Justin
Parker's 18. Trayvon Tyler added 16 and Richard Simpkins 8. The Lynx
shot 52% from the field. The victory improves Lincoln's record to
13-8 on the year and 1-1 in MWAC play.

On Saturday, Lincoln will travel to East Peoria, to play Illinois
			Central College at 3:00 p.m.
