Obituary
Dorothy J. Paxton-Butler, 84, of Lincoln passed away
at 8:00 p.m. on January 29, 2017 at Christian
Village in Lincoln.
Dorothy was born January 12, 1933 in Chicago, the
daughter of Clearance Paxton and Evelyn (Arbogast)
Paxton.
Dorothy is survived by her children: Allan Butler
Kansas City, Kansas; Charles Butler of Lincoln;
Suzan Butler of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Sherri (Wade)
Wimp of Bloomington, Mike Butler of Normal, ten
grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, two
brothers Charles Paxton, Robert Curran.

Services for Dorothy will be held at 1:00 p.m. on
Friday February 3, 2017 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Ron Otto officiating.
A visitation will be one hour prior to service (
12:00 till 1:00 p.m.). Burial at Park Hill Cemetery
in Bloomington, will follow the service.
Memorial donations may be made in Dorothy’s name to
Alzheimer’s Association.
The family would like to extend a special thank you
to the staff at the Christian Village of Lincoln,
for the excellent service.
