Obituary
Thomas Hunter, 85, of Lincoln passed away at 12:01
a.m. February 8, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center of
Springfield.
Thomas was born June 30, 1931 in Lincoln, son of
Samuel Hunter and Ernestine Sparrow Hunter. He
married Mary B. McKinney August 28, 1965 in Lincoln.
She preceded him death June 9, 1998.
Thomas was the last of his immediate family. He is
survived by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in
death by parents, one daughter: Cheryl, one sister:
Norma, and two brothers: George and Ernest.
Thomas was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a member
of Lincoln Christian Church, Heritage In-flight
Museum at the Lincoln Airport. |
Services for Thomas will be held at 11:00 a.m.
February 11, 2017 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home in Lincoln, with Ron Otto officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service
(10:00-11:00 a.m.). Burial at Zion Cemetery will
follow the service where full military rites will be
accorded by the Lincoln American Legion Post #263.
