Feb 13 (The Sports Xchange) -
The Portland Trail Blazers and Denver Nuggets officially completed
the trade of centers on Monday.
Denver acquired Mason Plumlee, a 2018 second-round draft pick and
cash consideration from Portland in exchange for Jusuf Nurkic and a
2017 protected first-round pick via Memphis, the teams announced.

The Cleveland Cavaliers traded injured reserve center Chris Andersen
to the Charlotte Hornets to open up a roster spot.
Cleveland also sent cash considerations to Charlotte for a protected
2017 second-round pick, Cavs general manager David Griffin
announced.

The Hornets later signed 7-foot center Mike Tobey to a second 10-day
contract.
Tobey, 22, signed his first 10-day contract with Charlotte on Feb. 3
after being called up from the Greensboro Swarm of the NBA
Development League.

Cavaliers All-Star forward Kevin Love will get a second opinion on
his ailing left knee Tuesday.
Love already has been ruled out for Tuesday night's road game
against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He underwent an MRI exam Sunday
after experiencing pain in his knee in the previous night's game
against Denver.

Golden State Warriors guards Klay Thompson and Shaun Livingston will
not be available for Monday's game against the Nuggets in Denver,
the team announced.
Thompson is out with a sore right foot and Livingston will be in
Oakland to be with his fiancee for the birth of their daughter.

The New York Knicks drama involving the relationship between team
owner James Dolan and former Knicks standout Charles Oakley
apparently may be taking a new turn.
The league office is considering having commissioner Adam Silver and
Michel Jordan step in as mediators to try to resolve the problem,
the New York Post reported Monday.
When such a meeting of the four men would take place is unclear
although the report indicated it could be early this week. (Editing
