Despite his well-documented friendship with President Donald Trump,
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady said he doesn't have an
issue with his teammates skipping the team's White House visit.
"Everybody has their own choice," Brady told PFT Live on Tuesday.

Since beating the Atlanta Falcons 34-28 in the Super Bowl, six
Patriots players -- Martellus Bennett, LeGarrette Blount, Devin
McCourty, Dont'a Hightower, Chris Long and Alan Branch -- said they
would not attend the traditional White House celebration.

The Seattle Seahawks avoided the loss of a draft pick for not
listing cornerback Richard Sherman's knee injury on the injury
report during the second half of last season, according to multiple
			reports.

Instead, the Seahawks received a warning for not following injury
protocol. Seattle regularly listed Sherman on the report as
"non-injury related" for 11 of the team's final 12 games, including
the playoffs, but never listed Sherman as dealing with a knee
			injury.

In another development, defensive end Cliff Avril revealed that he
underwent surgery on Tuesday but the specific nature was not
divulged by Avril or the team.
