[February 15, 2017]  Feb 14 (The Sports Xchange) - Despite his well-documented friendship with President Donald Trump, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady said he doesn't have an issue with his teammates skipping the team's White House visit.

"Everybody has their own choice," Brady told PFT Live on Tuesday.

Since beating the Atlanta Falcons 34-28 in the Super Bowl, six Patriots players -- Martellus Bennett, LeGarrette Blount, Devin McCourty, Dont'a Hightower, Chris Long and Alan Branch -- said they would not attend the traditional White House celebration.

The Seattle Seahawks avoided the loss of a draft pick for not listing cornerback Richard Sherman's knee injury on the injury report during the second half of last season, according to multiple reports.

Instead, the Seahawks received a warning for not following injury protocol. Seattle regularly listed Sherman on the report as "non-injury related" for 11 of the team's final 12 games, including the playoffs, but never listed Sherman as dealing with a knee injury.

In another development, defensive end Cliff Avril revealed that he underwent surgery on Tuesday but the specific nature was not divulged by Avril or the team.

The Chargers announced ticket prices for their first season in Los Angeles with prices ranging from $70 to $375 per game, the team announced Tuesday.

The Chargers will play in the StubHub Center in Carson, a soccer facility that will seat approximately 30,000 for football games. The approximate average ticket price is $192, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh announced that assistants Chris Hewitt, Mike Macdonald, Drew Wilkins and Juney Barnett have all been promoted for the 2017 season.

Hewitt will serve as the Ravens' secondary coach; Macdonald will be the defensive backs coach; Wilkins was promoted to assistant defensive line coach, and Barnett was elevated to strength and conditioning coach. (Editing by Larry Fine) ))
