Obituary
Meredith A. “Dot” Bohn, 94, of
Mt. Pulaski, formerly of Elkhart, passed away at
5:06 P.M. Saturday February 18, 2017 at Vonderlieth
Living Center in Mt. Pulaski.
Dot was born on January 26,
1923 in Lake Fork, IL to George and Margaret
(Bryson) Peterson. She married Herman R. Bohn on
August 24, 1940 in Bowling Green, MO. He preceded
her in death on February 23, 2006.
Surviving are her daughter
Anita Davis of Elkhart, IL, her son Roger (Diane
Gideon) Bohn of Mt. Pulaski, IL, her grandchildren,
Kelly (Randy) Bailey of Mt. Pulaski, Kim Beggs of
Sherman, Kris (Erin) Davis of Elkhart, Korey
(Melissa) Davis of Elkhart, Micah Bohn of Mt.
Pulaski, IL, and Sheena Vinyard of Mt. Pulaski, IL;
twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in
death by her parents, son-in-law: James Davis, and
two brothers: Gene and Ray Peterson.

Dot was a member of Elkhart Christian Church. She
enjoyed gardening and flowers and spending time at
family gatherings with her grandchildren and great
grandchildren.
Services for Dot will be 10:00
a.m. Wednesday February 22, 2017 at Elkhart
Christian Church with Mike Drake and Stacy Popejoy
officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
Tuesday February 21, 2017 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski, IL. Burial at Carlyle
Cemetery will follow the service. Memorials may be
made in Dot’s name to Elkhart Christian Church or
Lake Fork Community Center. |
