David Reece Gee, 69, of Mt. Pulaski passed away at 11:49 A.M. on
Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center in
Springfield.

A private family service will be held at a later
date.

Obituary
David was born November 7, 1947 in Lincoln, the son
of Raymond L. and Verna (Centers) Gee.
David is survived by his daughters, Angela (Brian)
Arteman of Bellflower, IL, and Karen (Bob
Goodpaster) Gee of Mt. Pulaski, and grandchildren,
Nathan Gee, Ben, Lauren, and Lane Arteman. Also
surviving are his sisters, Carol Coombs of Lincoln
and Jan (Gene) Bowers of Paris, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife
Cheryl “Susie” Gee, his brother, Raymond Gee Jr.,
and brother-in-law, John Coombs.
A private family service will be held at a later
date. Memorial donations may be made in David’s name
to The Latham Fire Dept. Services have been
entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home,
Mt. Pulaski.
