On Sunday the Lincoln Park
District hosted the annual Sweetheart Dance for families. The event
was well attended with many of the "couples" being daddies and their
daughters, a few sons and moms, and families in attendance.

The Park District Ballroom was decorated for
Valentines Day with red hearts and streamers, and well-embellished
tables. |

Guests visited the dance floor throughout the
afternoon, many of them being dads and daughters, often time dressed
to matched.

|
A craft table was set up where kids, with the
assistance of the parent and guidance from park district volunteers
made valentine art they could take home. |
|
|
There was also a large buffet of kid-friendly
foods that included pizza and chips and other good things including
a few sweets. |
