			21, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.  |

							A memorial gathering will be held from 9 AM until 11 
							AM Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Holland Barry & 
							Bennett Funeral Home. Service:
							Memorial services will follow at 11 AM also at the 
							funeral home on Saturday with Rev. Don Green 
							officiating.

							Michael G. Franz, 65, of New Holland, passed away 
							February 21, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center, 
							Springfield. 
 Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry 
							& Bennett Funeral Home, Lincoln. A memorial 
							gathering will be held from 9 AM until 11 AM 
							Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Holland Barry & 
							Bennett Funeral Home. Memorial services will follow 
							at 11 AM also at the funeral home on Saturday with 
							Rev. Don Green officiating.
 
 Michael was born May 20, 1951 in Lincoln, IL., the 
							son of Walter R. and Mildred E. (Belcher) Franz. He 
							married D. Sue Lynn on September 12, 1971 in Emden, 
							IL. He was a life long farmer and a member of I 
							Worship Center, Springfield.

Survivors include his wife Sue of Sherman ; daughter Jennifer Lynn Warnisher 
(Clint) of Athens, IL.; son Nathan Michael Franz (Abby) of Savoy, IL.; daughter 
Megan Sue Solivan (JR) of Bethlehem, PA.; grandchildren: Elaine Warnisher, Chet 
Warnisher, Nolan Franz, Evan Franz, and Madison Solivan; and great grandson Dale 
Graff.
 He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Suzie Hilst.
 
 Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and the American 
Lung Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
