			p.m. on Monday, January 2, 2017, at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center 
			in Normal. |

							from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Atlanta 
							Christian Church.  Masonic Rites will be accorded at 7:00 p.m. Service:
							Saturday, January 7, at 11 a.m. at the church

							Robert Downey "Tom" Wertheim, 75, of Atlanta, passed 
							away at 12:35 p.m. on Monday, January 2, 2017, at 
							Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.
 Visitation will be Friday, January 6, 2017, from 
							5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Atlanta Christian 
							Church. Masonic Rites will be accorded at 7:00 p.m.
 
 Memorial services for Mr. Wertheim will be held on 
							Saturday, January 7, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the 
							Atlanta Christian Church. Mr. Maurice Stribling will 
							officiate.
 
 Burial will be at a later date. Cremation Rites have 
							been accorded.
 
 Robert Downey Wertheim was born November 30, 1941, 
							in Lincoln, the son of Robert "Bob" Glenn and Nancy 
							Hoblit Wertheim. He married Connie Renfrow on July 
							8, 1966 at the Eminence Christian Church in rural 
							Atlanta. She survives.
 
 Tom is also survived by their children: Amy Wertheim 
							of Atlanta, Greg Wertheim of Normal, and Julie 
							(Erin) Mulliken of Bloomington; three grandchildren: 
							Nicholas Flach, Annika Wertheim, and Tatum Mulliken; 
							two sisters: Lynd Corley of Glenview, Ill., and 
							Elizabeth (Ed) Lenz of East Peoria.

                He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister: Frances 
				Wertheim, M.D.
 Tom was owner of the R.G.W. Candy Company in Atlanta. He was a 
				graduate of Atlanta High School and attended the University of 
				Illinois Urbana. He had farmed in the rural Atlanta area and 
				worked for the Atlanta Township road commissioner. Tom was a 
				member of Atlanta Masonic Lodge #165 and is a past Master. He 
				was a member of the Atlanta Christian Church where he had served 
				as a Deacon.
 
 Memorial contributions may be made to the Atlanta Christian 
				Church.
 
 Funeral arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral 
				Home of Atlanta.
