			Jan 9 (The Sports Xchange) - The 
			Pittsburgh Steelers placed outside linebackers coach Joey Porter on 
			leave Monday after his arrest outside a bar on Sunday night, hours 
			after the team's 30-12 AFC wild-card win over the Miami Dolphins. 
 Porter, 39, was arraigned early Monday morning on multiple charges 
			after his arrest. He was released from jail and is now free on a 
			$25,000 bond.
 
 Porter faces a felony aggravated assault charge along with counts of 
			simple assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and 
			trespassing, according to court records. He was also cited for 
			public drunkenness. The alleged altercation with a doorman took 
			place Sunday night at The Flats on Carson, a popular nightspot in 
			Pittsburgh.

 Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is out of the walking boot 
			on his right foot after an MRI exam Monday showed "nothing severe" 
			to an old injury suffered in Sunday's AFC wild-card game.
 
 Big Ben is downplaying the late-game injury that landed him in a 
			walking boot after Sunday's 30-12 win over the Miami Dolphins, 
			telling the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that it was merely for 
			precaution and his right foot fine.

 Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson was hospitalized Sunday 
			night after sustaining a rib injury in Sunday's 38-13 rout of the 
			New York Giants in the NFC wild-card round, but has returned to the 
			team's facilities.

			 Nelson, 
			31, was hit in the midsection by Giants safety Leon Hall after a 
			dropped pass early in the second quarter. He was initially listed as 
			questionable to return but was later ruled out. He made one catch 
			for 13 yards in the victory.

			The Jacksonville Jaguars are reportedly prepared to promote Doug 
			Marrone from interim head coach to the full-time position.
 
 Marrone would be promoted after serving as the team's interim coach 
			to finish the season, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday. 
			Marrone was 1-1 with Jaguars following the firing of Gus Bradley on
