			LINCOLN 
			- The fourth quarter of 2016 saw increased home sales compared to 
		2015 for the same time period. 
		REALTORS in Logan County Board of REALTORS® sold 102 homes in the fourth 
		quarter of 2016, 34 more than the 68 sold during the same time period in 
		2015.
 The average selling price for homes in the 2016 time period was $86,426, 
		down from $97,476 in 2015. Median prices were down, $80,250 compared to 
		$81,250.
 
 The length of time that the average home was on the market also was 
		shorter with the average "Days on Market" in 2016 169 days. This was 12 
		days quicker than the same time period in 2015.
 
 The year 2016 saw the number of homes sold increase compared to 2015. 
		REALTORS in Logan County Board of REALTORS® sold 469 homes in 2016, 101 
		more than the 368 sold during the same time period in 2015.

The average selling price for homes in 2016 was $96,106, up from $95,548 in 
2015. Median prices were up as well, $87,450 compared to $80,000.
 The average home was on the market a shorter period of time with the average 
"Days on Market" in 2016 171 days. This was 21 days fewer than the same time 
period in 2015.
