Peter was born in Holland and as a child immigrated with his
family to South Africa where he lived for forty years. He has a
degree in mechanical engineering and worked in that field while
having a lifelong interest in the flora and fauna of Africa as
well as the sea life of the region. He is now an American
citizen and resides in Illinois where he focuses on the wild
life and birds of the region while continuing his interest in
the animals of the African continent..
