			Highlights of National Hockey League games on Tuesday: 
 Leafs 4, Sabres 3
 
 James van Riemsdyk's third-period goal helped the Toronto Maple 
			Leafs edge the Buffalo Sabres 4-3 on Tuesday night at Air Canada 
			Centre.
 
 Toronto earned its third win in a row while improving to 9-1-1 in 
			the past 11 games. Buffalo lost for the third time in four games.
 
 Stars 7, Rangers 6
 
 Patrick Sharp scored twice as Dallas survived a wild one to defeat 
			New York at Madison Square Garden.
 
 Patrick Eaves, Jamie Benn, Cody Eakin, Adam Cracknell and Antoine 
			Roussel also scored for the Stars.
 
 Blue Jackets 4, Hurricanes 1
 
 Brandon Dubinsky scored two goals and Columbus welcomed Sergei 
			Bobrovsky back to the net in a victory over Carolina at Nationwide 
			Arena.
 
 Bobrovsky, who missed the last three games with an illness, finished 
			with 24 saves and posted his NHL-best 27th win of the season.
 
 Senators 6, Blues 4
 
 Mark Stone and Mike Hoffman each scored two goals to lead Ottawa 
			over St. Louis.
 
 Bobby Ryan and Jean-Gabriel Pageau also scored for the Senators.
 
 Devils 4, Wild 3
 
 Beau Bennett, Kyle Palmieri and Adam Henrique scored third-period 
			goals as New Jersey overcame a pair of deficits and cooled off 
			red-hot Minnesota.
 
 The Devils also got a power-play goal from Pavel Zacha and 32 saves 
			from goalie Cory Schneider.
 
 Flames 5, Panthers 2
 
 Mikael Backlund scored goals 13 seconds apart in the second period 
			to lead Calgary over Florida at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

			Backlund also had an assist for the Flames, while Mark Giordano 
			scored once and set up two others. Sean Monahan had a goal and an 
			assist for Calgary, Kris Versteeg also scored, and Matthew Tkachuk 
			and Michael Frolik chipped in with two assists each.
 Blackhawks 6, Avalanche 4
 
 Vinnie Hinostroza scored twice in a span of 3:10 of the third 
			period, and Chicago rallied to beat the Colorado.
 
 Tanner Kero had two goals and an assist and Nick Schmaltz had a goal 
			and an assist. Brent Seabrook also scored and Corey Crawford made 19 
			saves for the Blackhawks.
 
			
			 
			Ducks 2, Lightning 1 (overtime)
 Rickard Rakell scored a power-play goal 54 seconds into overtime to 
			give Anaheim a win vs. Tampa Bay at the Honda Center.
 
 Ryan Getzlaf also scored for the Ducks, who received 27 saves from 
			John Gibson in earning their seventh win in nine games.
 
 Canucks 1, Predators 0
 
 Henrik Sedin's goal at 12:28 of the third period gave Vancouver a 
			victory over Nashville.
 
 The Canucks ended their losing streak at four games while avenging a 
			loss to the Predators in the dying seconds of overtime in Nashville 
			last week. The Predators suffered their first loss in four games.
