Obituary
Betty Jane Harmon, 92, of Lincoln passed away on
Saturday, January 14, 2017 at her home.
No services are scheduled. Cremation rites have been
accorded.
Burial will be in Lucas Chapel Cemetery in rural
Lincoln.
Betty Jane Shay was born on October 28, 1924 in
Lincoln the daughter of Frank Sherman and Mary Jane
Reece Shay. She was united in marriage to William
Harmon on September 23, 1951. He preceded her in
death on April 6, 1994.
She is survived by one daughter: Tammy Renee Barr of
Springfield. Two granddaughters, one grandson, two
nieces and two nephews. |
Betty was employed at Cutler Hammer, Inc.
She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall in
Lincoln.
Peasley Funeral Home is assisting the family with the funeral
arrangements.
