Mount Pulaski led 13-12 at the end of one quarter of play and
by halftime they had extended that lead to 23-17.
Much to the delight of fans, the Hilltoppers continued to add to
the lead, 37-26 was the score at the end of the third quarter.
The Hawks put up 20 points in the fourth quarter but Mount
Pulaski managed to hold on for the 54-46 win.
Mount Pulaski was led by Peyton Taylor and Lukas Aylesworth with
14 points apiece and Seth Huff contributed 11 points.
The Hilltoppers next game is Tuesday night at Tri-City.
