- Loren W. Proefrock, 90, of Lincoln passed away on Sunday,
April 23, 2017 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln.

2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2017 at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.

4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home

Obituary
Loren W. Proefrock, 90, of Lincoln passed away on
Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Hospital, Lincoln.
Loren was born on May 1, 1926 in Petersburg, the son
of Carl and Anna (Hagel) Proefrock, He married
Darlene Reiss on February 12, 1949 in Altamont, she
has preceded him in death.
Loren is survived by his sons; Dr. David (Vicki)
Proefrock of Augusta, GA, Dean (Traci) Proefrock of
New Berlin, John Proefrock of Hartsburg, and Jim (Marlo)
Proefrock of Hudson, WI; his eight grandchildren,
and eight great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife,
and two brothers. |
A memorial service for Loren will be held at 4:00
p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2017 at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the
service (2:00-4:00P.M.) also at the funeral home.
Burial will follow the services at Holy Cross
Cemetery in Lincoln.
Memorial donations may be made in Loren’s name to
Friendship Manor or The Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Hospital Foundation.
