							 Mariann (Aper-Hieronymus) Suedmeier, 86, of 
							Hartsburg, passed away June 21, 2017, at St. Clara's 
							Manor. 
							 
							Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to Noon Tuesday, 
							June 27, 2017, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 
							Hartsburg. Funeral services will follow at Noon with 
							Pastor Lisa Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow 
							in Hartsburg Union Cemetery. Holland Barry & Bennett 
							Funeral Home has been entrusted with her care. 
							 
							Mariann was born April 6, 1931, in Hartsburg, the 
							daughter of Rudolph and Florence (Rentschler) Aper. 
							She married Maurice Hieronymus on May 1, 1952. He 
							preceded her in death. She later married Gordon 
							Suedmeier on August 16, 1958. He preceded her in 
							death. 
							 
							She worked at State National and Logan County Banks 
							in Lincoln and Hartsburg State Bank. She also worked 
							at the Broadway and Hi-Ho Cafes in Lincoln, 
							Hartsburg Grocery Store, Hartsburg Drug Store, and 
							sold Amway products.

She was a lifetime member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Hartsburg where she 
taught Bible school and sang in the choir. She enjoyed gardening. 
							Survivors include one son Daniel (Brenda) Hieronymus 
							of San Jose, grandsons Chris Hieronymus and Adam 
							Hieronymus both of San Jose, granddaughter Amber 
							(Rhett) Cloninger of Quincy, great grandchildren 
							Ramsey and Connor Cloninger, sister Ruth M. Aper, 
							and several nieces and nephews. 
							 
							She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, 
							brother Arthur Aper, and sister A. June Taylor. 
							 
							Memorial donations may be made to San Jose Fire 
							Department, Hartsburg Fire Department, or to St. 
							John's Lutheran Church.
