Howard named June ALMH Employee of the Month

[July 08, 2017]   LINCOLN - Casie Howard of Southern View, Illinois has been named the June Employee of the Month at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. Howard has worked as a registered nurse at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in the emergency department for over five years.

She was nominated by a co-worker for the honor who stated, “Casie consistently goes above and beyond to help her co-workers each night. She has taken on several additional tasks at ALMH and has continued her education, recently completing her Trauma Nurse Specialist certification.”

Howard holds an associate’s in science degree from Lincoln College and a bachelor’s of science in nursing from MacMurray College in Jacksonville, Illinois. She is proud to work at ALMH because of her co-workers.

“Everyone works hard to help create a great experience for our patients. And it’s a great place to work because my co-workers are like a second family to me,” said Howard.

She is also very thankful for her close family that has always been supportive of her career choice.

“They even work around my schedule during the holidays so that we can spend it together.”
