July 10 (The Sports Xchange) -
Ben Simmons, already looking ahead to next season as the
Philadelphia 76ers' starting point guard, is excited about the
team's new additions.
The 6-foot-10 Simmons said he has bought into head coach Brett
Brown's vision for the 2017-18 season, even though he would be one
of the tallest players to ever play point guard in the NBA.

The Sacramento Kings announced that they have signed swingman Vince
Carter, forward Zach Randolph and guard George Hill, making official
what had been reported earlier.
- -
Los Angeles Lakers rookie guard Lonzo Ball will sit out Monday's Las
Vegas Summer League game against the Sacramento Kings with a groin
injury, multiple outlets reported.

The injury isn't considered serious for Ball, but his
expected absence puts a damper on a matchup that would've featured
two of the top five picks of this year's draft. Ball was the second
overall pick and De'Aaron Fox was taken No. 5 overall by the Kings.

The Chicago Bulls signed free agent guard Justin Holiday, the team
announced.
The Bulls did not disclose terms of the deal, but the Chicago
Tribune reported that Holiday agreed to a two-year, $9 million
contract. [© 2017 Thomson Reuters. All
