07/13/2017 MLB Note - Philadelphia Phillies Hernandez, Cesar
2B Cesar Hernandez (left abdominal strain) was sent on a rehab
assignment to Class A Clearwater. He went 0-for-1 with a walk and a
run scored Wednesday for Clearwater.

MLB Note - Baltimore Orioles Crichton, Stefan
RHP Stefan Crichton was sent on a rehab assignment to GCL Orioles.
He suffered the loss for the Orioles Wednesday, giving up one run in
2/3 of an inning. Crichton was placed on the 10-day disabled list
retroactive to June 27 with a right shoulder strain. He is 0-0 with
an 8.03 ERA in eight outings and 12 1/3 innings as a reliever for
the Orioles.

MLB Note - Toronto Blue Jays Alford, Anthony
CF Anthony Alford was sent on a rehab assignment to Class A Dunedin.
Alford was placed on the 10-day disabled list May 24 because of a
right hand fracture.

MLB Note - Baltimore Orioles Davis, Chris
1B Chris Davis was sent on a rehab assignment to Class A Delmarva.
He went 0-for-4 with one strikeout Wednesday. Davis (right oblique
strain) is nearing a return after being out since June 13 with the
injury. He has 14 homers and 26 RBIs while hitting .226 in 61 games
this season.

MLB Note - Chicago White Sox Gonzalez, Miguel
RHP Miguel Gonzalez (right shoulder joint inflammation) was sent on
a rehab assignment to Double-A Birmingham. He pitched 4 1/ innings
Wednesday, giving up seven hits and five runs with five strikeouts.
Gonzalez has been on the 10-day disabled list since June 19
(retroactive to June 15).

MLB Note - San Diego Padres Baumann, Buddy
LHP Buddy Baumann (left shoulder soreness) was sent on a rehab
assignment to Double-A San Antonio. He pitched one inning Wednesday,
striking out two and giving up one hit. He has been on the disabled
list since April 1.

MLB Note - Colorado Rockies Dahl, David
LF David Dahl (stress reaction in rib cage) was sent on a rehab
assignment to Class A Lancaster. Dahl sustained the injury in spring
training.

MLB Note - San Francisco Giants Nunez, Eduardo
3B Eduardo Nunez was sent on a rehab assignment to Class A San Jose.
Nunez was disabled June 23 with a hamstring strain.
