- Rose M. Talbot, 62, of Athens, formerly of Armington, passed away
at 9:10 p.m. on Monday, July 10, 2017, at her home. |
Visitation:
Saturday, July 15, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00
p.m. at the Armington Christian Church in Armington
Service:
Noon on Saturday at the church

Obituary
Rose M. Talbot, 62, of Athens, formerly of Armington,
passed away at 9:10 p.m. on Monday, July 10, 2017,
at her home.
Visitation for Mrs. Talbot will be held on Saturday,
July 15, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the
Armington Christian Church in Armington.
A Memorial Service for Mrs. Talbot will be held at
12:00 p.m. at the church. Mr. Andy Johnson will
officiate. Burial will follow at Oak View Cemetery
in Armington.
Cremation Rites have been accorded.
Rose Marie Presswood was born July 7, 1955, in
Bloomington, the daughter of Floyd and Dorlis "Tiny"
Edwards Presswood. She married Steve Talbot. He
preceded her in death.
Rose is survived by her daughter, Cassandra Marie
Talbot of Springfield; her mother: Dorlis Brandt;
two siblings: Reta Ann (Bud) Wilson of Danville and
Randy Presswood of Atlanta; several nieces and
nephews to whom she was the most awesome aunt;
several great-nieces and great-nephews; and many
aunts, uncles, and cousins. |
She was preceded in death by two loving fathers: Floyd Presswood and
Robert D. Brandt.
Rose graduated from Olympia High School in 1973 and went on to
receive her Practical Nurse and Registered Nurse licenses. She had
worked as a nurse at Memorial Medical Center. Rose was a member of
Armington Christian Church.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home of
Atlanta.
