Obituary
Perry D. Crowell, 57, of Springfield, passed away
July 15, 2017, at Memorial Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon Thursday,
July 20, 2017, at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral
Home, Lincoln. Funeral services will follow at noon
also at the funeral home. Cremation rites will then
be accorded.
Perry was born April 6, 1961, in Lincoln, the son of
Jackie Crowell and Marjorie (Miller) Yeates. He
married Sheila Pierce on May 1, 2004.
Surviving are his mother Marjorie (David) Yeates;
wife Sheila Crowell; children Michael Dean Clesson,
Rachel Mae Dawn Clesson, Johnny Lee Clesson, and
Patrick Shawn Crowell, 14 grandchildren; step
children Amanda Pierce and Jason Henson and canine
companions Zeeva and Zoey. |
Perry was in restaurant management for 15 years,
working at Godfather's Pizza and Subway in
Springfield. He was a member of Lincoln Hill Free
Methodist Church. He proudly served his country in
the United States Army. Perry was a NASCAR fan and
enjoyed working in his yard.
Memorials may be made to Friends of Sangamon County
Animal Control and will be accepted at the funeral
home.
