Obituary
Gerald Frederick Litterly was born December 8, 1936
in rural Lake Fork, Illinois, to Jesse Earl and
Rosie Mae Litterly. He passed away, July 3, 2017,
after a courageous battle with cancer.
He married Barbara Carol Cyrulik, December 24, 1958.
They had three sons, Steven, Jeffery, and James. She
preceded him in death.
He married Connie Fisher, February 2, 1994. She
preceded him in death.
Gerald farmed in the Mount Pulaski area until his
death, for over 60 years. He also lived on the
Centennial Family Farm. He was a member of the Lake
Fork Christian Church and the Masonic Lodge #87 A.F.
& M. Mount Pulaski.
He leaves behind three sons, Steven, Jeffrey
(Susan), and James (Jan). Five grandchildren, Carly
Winkelmann (Rob), Mitchell, Tyler, Jacob, and Luke
Litterly; two great-grandchildren, Camden and Macyn
Winkelmann. |
Gerald loved life and loved spending time with his
grandchildren and his dog Jazzie.
Gerald was also preceded in death by his parents and
one brother, Forrest Litterly.
Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society
or The Mount Pulaski Future Farmers of America. The
family plans a Celebration of Life at a later date.
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home has been
entrusted with arrangements.
