Highlights from Major League Baseball games on Tuesday:
Indians 11, Angels 7
Edwin Encarnacion's grand slam in the 11th inning capped a wild
night as the Cleveland Indians, after blowing an early seven-run
lead, rallied to beat the Los Angeles Angels 11-7 on Tuesday.
Bradley Zimmer, whose grand slam highlighted a seven-run Cleveland
second inning, led off the bottom of the 11th by drawing a walk from
Bud Norris (1-3). Zimmer stole second base, then went to third when
Norris walked Francisco Lindor but threw a wild pitch on ball four.
Mariners 6, Red Sox 5 (13 innings)
Jean Segura's infield single scored the winning run in the bottom of
the 13th inning as Seattle handed Boston its season-high fourth
straight loss.
With the Mariners trailing 5-4 and one out in the bottom of the
13th, Mitch Haniger drew a walk from Doug Fister (0-5), and Ben
Gamel hit into a fielder's choice. Guillermo Heredia fouled off a
couple two-strike pitches before lining a single to right field,
with Gamel taking third. Gamel then scored the tying run on a wild
pitch, with Heredia advancing from first to third.
Yankees 4, Reds 2
Todd Frazier experienced a memorable Yankee Stadium debut, hitting
into a run-scoring triple play as New York held off Cincinnati.

Jedd Gyorko's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth inning lifted
St. Louis over Chicago.

Bader to third, Gyorko pinch-hit and lofted a fly ball to shallow
right.

three home runs off Edwin Jackson en route to a rout of Washington.

help Houston defeat Philadelphia.
[to top of second column] |
Fisher went 1-for-3 with a walk, upping his average
to .286 in his first 21 career major league at-bats. He also made
two terrific catches in center in the first two innings. The only
blemish was getting caught stealing after his only hit.
Royals 3, Tigers 1
Danny Duffy recorded his second victory over Detroit in a week as
Kansas City won its seventh straight game.
Duffy (7-6) was the winning pitcher in the second
victory of the streak, a 16-4 pummeling of the Tigers on Thursday in
Kansas City. On Tuesday, Duffy limited the Tigers to one run on six
hits in 6 1/3 innings.

Foltynewicz lasted six innings for his sixth consecutive win as
Atlanta defeated Arizona.
Suzuki homered in successive at-bats, going back-to-back with Johan
Camargo in the eighth, as the Braves scored six runs against the
Diamondbacks' bullpen in the seventh and eighth innings. Atlanta won
for the first time in four games.

Panik highlighted a 14-hit attack with a bases-clearing triple as
San Francisco routed Pittsburgh.
Buster Posey had three hits and scored twice for the Giants, who had
given Bumgarner (1-4) a total of 10 runs of offensive support in his
previous six starts this season. Bumgarner limited the Pirates to
one run and six hits in five innings.

four at-bats. He had three RBIs and two runs. Seth Lugo (5-2) got
the win after allowing four runs (three earned) in six innings.

left-hander worked six innings, giving up four runs and six hits
while striking out five and walking two.
