F Rocco Grimaldi signed a one-year contract
with the Colorado Avalanche. Grimaldi, 24, spent the majority of
the 2016-17 season with the San Antonio Rampage of the AHL,
recording 55 points (31 goals, 55 points) in 72 games. He also
appeared in four games for the Avalanche, tallying one assist.

NHL Note - Colorado Avalanche Graham, Jesse
D Jesse Graham signed a one-year contract with the Colorado
Avalanche on Wednesday. Graham, 23, split the 2016-17 campaign
between the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL and Missouri
Mavericks of the ECHL in the New York Islanders' system. He
recorded nine points (two goals, seven assists) in 19 games for
Bridgeport Sound and 25 points (six goals, 19 assists) in 24
contests with the Mavericks.

NHL Note - Boston Bruins Spooner, Ryan
C Ryan Spooner avoided arbitration by signing a one-year
contract worth $2.825 million with the Boston Bruins, the team
announced Wednesday. Spooner had been seeking $3.85 million
while the Bruins were asking for $2 million. The sides were
expected to meet with an arbitrator on Wednesday prior to the
deal.
