LINCOLN
- The family of Tad Johnson has been completely overwhelmed
with the kindness and support of the Logan County community
according to Tad's sister-in-law Jennifer Craig. The fundraiser held
at the Country Air Restaurant in Atlanta on July 12th raised $1,000
for the family from food sales at the eatery. In addition, special
bracelets were sold at the restaurant that day, and that brought in
an additional $1,300.
Now, another local restaurant wants to step up and help out. On
Wednesday, August 9th, El Mazatlan Mexican Restaurant in Lincoln
will donate ten percent of the food receipts for the entire day to
the Johnson Family.

Johnson suffered a broken neck in a one vehicle accident in June of this year.
He has undergone surgery and spent many days in a special hospital in Chicago
for rehabilitation. Tad suffered paralysis but is working hard to recover.
The money earned through these fundraisers will assist Tad, wife Gina and their
two daughters, Paige and Anna in overcoming the financial trials the family is
facing.
