THIS WEEK: This will be the 95th NASCAR Cup race held at Dover. ...
Matt Kenseth won this race last year, while Martin Truex Jr. won
last year's playoff race there. ... Austin Dillon won the Coca-Cola
600 this past Sunday at Charlotte Motor Speedway. It was Dillon's
first career NASCAR Cup win. ... Martin Truex Jr., who finished
third in the Coca-Cola 600, took over the lead in the NASCAR Cup
point standings (491 points). Kyle Larson, who had been the prior
leader for much of the season to date, fell to second place (486
points). Brad Keselowski moved up to third (409), followed by Kevin
Harvick (388) and Kyle Busch (386). Sixth through 10th are Jamie
McMurray (365), Chase Elliott (362), Jimmie Johnson (359), Clint
Bowyer (343) and Joey Logano (336).

THIS WEEK: This will be the 67th Xfinity Series race at Dover. Erik
Jones is the defending winner of this race, while Daniel Suarez won
last fall's playoff race. ... Ryan Blaney won this past Saturday's
Xfinity race at Charlotte, defeating Kevin Harvick, Austin Dillon,
Christopher Bell and Denny Hamlin. ... Elliott Sadler remains atop
the Xfinity Series points (332), followed by Justin Allgaier (326),
William Byron (275), Daniel Hemric (253), Darrell Wallace Jr. (249),
Ryan Reed (237), Brennan Poole (229), Matt Tifft (227), Michael
Annett (225) and Blake Koch (220).
NASCAR CAMPING WORLD TRUCK SERIES: BAR HARBOR 200 (200 laps, 200
miles around a 1.0-mile oval), Dover International Speedway; Dover,

TV: Friday, June 2, 5:30 p.m. ET -- Fox Sports 1 (Radio: Motor

THIS WEEK: After having this past weekend off, the series returns to
action Friday afternoon at Dover. ... This will be the 18th Truck
Series race at Dover. Matt Crafton won last year's race there. ...
Kyle Busch won the most recent Truck race, two weeks ago during the
NASCAR Cup All-Star Race Weekend at Charlotte. It was his 48th
career Truck win and his second consecutive win (won the week before
at Kansas). ... Points leaders are: Johnny Sauter (242), Christopher
Bell (227), Matt Crafton (191), Chase Briscoe (171), Ben Rhodes
(170), Timothy Peters (170), Grant Enfinger (147), Kaz Grala (139),
Ryan Truex (139) and Brett Moffitt (126). ... Peters and Moffitt are
both looking for a new ride after Red Horse Racing announced last
week that it was suspending operations immediately due to lack of
sponsorship.
VERIZON INDYCAR SERIES: CHEVROLET DETROIT GRAND PRIX RACE 1
(Saturday, June 3) AND RACE 2 (Sunday, June 4) (70 laps, 164.5 miles
on a 2.350-mile street course), The Raceway at Belle Isle; Detroit,
Michigan.
TV: Both races will be televised live on ABC, both starting at 3:30
p.m. ET.

THIS WEEK: This will be the 12th and 13th races held
on Detroit's Belle Isle. ... Sebastien Bourdais won last year's
first of the two weekend races, while Will Power won the second race
the following day. ... Takuma Sato became the first Asian driver to
win the Indianapolis 500 this past Sunday. Helio Castroneves
finished second, while Ed Jones finished third. Former two-time
Formula One champ Fernando Alonso was in contention throughout the
Indy 500 before the motor in his McLaren-Andretti Autosport Honda
expired with 21 laps remaining in the race. ... Bourdais has already
begun physical therapy and visited IMS over race weekend. He was
seriously injured during a crash in qualifying on May 20, suffering
injuries to his legs and pelvis, for which he required surgery.
Bourdais is out for the remainder of the season. He was replaced in
the Indy 500 for Dale Coyne Racing by James Davison. ... Winners of
the first six races have been Sebastien Bourdais (St. Petersburg),
James Hinchcliffe (Long Beach), Josef Newgarden (Alabama) Simon
Pagenaud (Phoenix), Will Power (IndyCar Grand Prix) and Takuma Sato
(Indy 500). ... With his second-place finish in the Indy 500, Helio
Castroneves took over the points lead in the Verizon IndyCar Series
Castroneves has 245 points, followed by a three-way tie for second
place between Pagenaud, Sato and Indy 500 polesitter Scott Dixon.
Last year's 500 winner, Alexander Rossi, is fifth (190 points),
followed by Tony Kanaan (188), Will Power (186), Josef Newgarden
(186), Ed Jones (185) and a 10th-place tie between James Hinchcliffe
and Max Chilton (170 points each).
NATIONAL HOT ROD ASSOCIATION, MELLO YELLO DRAG RACING SERIES: NEW
ENGLAND NHRA NATIONALS, June 2-4, New England Dragway; Epping, New
Hampshire.
TV: Live coverage of final eliminations, Sunday, June 4, 4:30 p.m.

THIS WEEK: The series begins its second third of the 24-race season
this weekend in the Northeast. ... Last year's winners of this event
were Antron Brown (Top Fuel), Ron Capps (Funny Car) and Greg
Anderson (Pro Stock). Ironically, Brown and Capps would go on to win
season the championship last year. ... Funny Car driver Alexis
DeJoria will likely miss her fourth consecutive race due to a
mysterious, unexplained reason. Veteran driver Chad Head continues
to serve as DeJoria's replacement. ... Points leaders: Top Fuel --
Leah Pritchett (721 points), Steve Torrence (691 points), Antron
Brown (680), Tony Schumacher (673), Doug Kalitta (539); Funny Car --
