“We are very honored that General Grant has found time in his busy schedule to come to Lincoln. We know that our visitors will be intrigued by the General’s insights,” Museum Director Tom McLaughlin said. “In Ulysses S. Grant, President Lincoln found a General who was willing to take the war to the confederacy. Yet, General Grant will always be remembered for the tremendous generosity and grace he showed at Appomattox.”

The Lincoln Heritage Museum is located on the Lincoln College Campus, 300 Keokuk St, Lincoln, Illinois. For questions, please call (217) 735-7399.
