Highlights of Thursday's Major League Baseball games:
Yankees, 12, Blue Jays 2
Aaron Hicks had four hits and six RBIs, Gary Sanchez hit two home
runs, and CC Sabathia pitched into the seventh inning as the New
York Yankees defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 12-2.
Sanchez had three RBIs and Matt Holliday added three hits for New
York. Sabathia (6-2) struck out seven and has 2,779 career
strikeouts, passing Frank Tanana (2,773) for fourth on the all-time
list for left-handed pitchers.
Kendrys Morales and Ezequiel Carrera homered for Toronto, which was
18-10 in May. Blue Jays starter Marco Estrada (4-3) allowed seven
runs, nine hits and two walks in 3 2/3 innings. He served up both
Sanchez homers.
Twins 4, Angels 2
Jason Castro singled home two runs in the ninth inning as part of a
three-run rally that helped Minnesota snap a four-game losing
streak.
The Angels took a 2-1 lead into the ninth on Kole Calhoun's two solo
home runs, including the go-ahead blast in the eighth.
Los Angeles first baseman Jefry Marte had a rough night, bouncing
into a triple play in the fourth inning and misjudging a simple
popup by Jorge Polanco with one out in the ninth that led to the
Twins' winning rally.
The Angels' Albert Pujols, who is one home run shy of 600 in his
career, hit a single in four at-bats.
Cardinals 2, Dodgers 0
Adam Wainwright belted a two-run homer and pitched six scoreless
innings as St Louis gained a split of a four-game series with Los
Angeles.
Wainwright (6-3) won his sixth consecutive decision, allowing four
hits and two walks while striking out six in a 101-pitch outing. In
his past four outings, all wins, Wainwright has permitted one run
over 26 1/3 innings.
Indians 8, Athletics 0
Corey Kluber came off the disabled list to pitch six scoreless
innings, and Cleveland benefited from three errors by Oakland that
led to five unearned runs.
Kluber (4-2), making his first start since May 2, gave up two hits
and struck out 10. Indians pitchers fanned 59 in the four-game
series.

Orioles 7, Red Sox 5
Wade Miley allowed one run over seven innings, and Mark Trumbo hit
the first of four home runs off Eduardo Rodriguez as Baltimore
defeated Boston.
Chris Davis and Adam Jones homered for the second straight night,
and Jonathan Schoop hit a three-run shot in the sixth that gave
Baltimore a 7-1 lead. Miley (2-3) scattered five hits, lowering his
ERA to 2.82.
Diamondbacks 3, Marlins 2
Zach Greinke struck out eight and continued his mastery of Miami as
Arizona prevailed.
Greinke (7-3) allowed four hits, two walks and two runs (one earned)
in seven innings. Greinke has lost to every team in the majors
except the Marlins. He is 5-0 in nine career starts against them.
Rockies 6, Mariners 3
Mark Reynolds and Nolan Arenado hit home runs as Colorado defeated
injury-plagued Seattle to salvage the finale of a two-city,
four-game interleague series.
Left-hander Kyle Freeland (6-3) improved to 4-0 on the road while
allowing two runs on six hits in six innings for the Rockies.
Brewers 2, Mets 1
Chase Anderson threw seven scoreless innings for the second straight
start as Milwaukee edged New York to gain a split of their four-game
series.
Anderson (4-1), who carried a no-hitter into the eighth inning in
his previous start, allowed three hits and one walk while striking
