The Miami Marlins placed first baseman Justin Bour on the 10-day
disabled list prior to Tuesday's game against the Chicago Cubs.
An MRI exam performed Monday determined Bour suffered a bone bruise
in his left ankle during Saturday's contest against the Arizona
Diamondbacks. He appeared as a pinch hitter on Sunday before sitting
out Monday's series opener against the Cubs. The move is retroactive
to Monday.

The Atlanta Braves placed right-hander Bartolo Colon on the disabled
list with a left oblique strain.
The move came one day after the 44-year-old Colon was bashed for
eight runs in 3 2/3 innings by the Philadelphia Phillies.

Detroit Tigers second baseman Ian Kinsler was activated from the
10-day disabled list and was in the starting lineup for Tuesday
night's game against the Los Angles Angels.
Kinsler was sidelined with a hamstring injury. Kinsler, a four-time
All-Star, is batting just .239 with four homers this season.

The Cleveland Indians activated outfielder Lonnie Chisenhall from
the seven-day concussion list and placed right-hander Danny Salazar
on the 10-day disabled list, the club announced.
Chisenhall was placed on the concussion list on May 23. He played
two rehab games at Double-A Akron before being deemed ready to
return.

Jesse Hahn is returning to the active roster after the Oakland
Athletics activated the right-handed pitcher from the 10-day
disabled list.
Hahn, 27, was placed on the disabled list on May 27 (retroactive to
May 24) with a strained right shoulder. He was 1-4 with a 3.81 ERA
in nine appearances (eight starts) this season before landing on the
DL.

Ruben Tejeda is returning to the big leagues as the
Baltimore Orioles selected his contract from Triple-A Norfolk after
acquiring the veteran infielder in a trade with the New York Yankees
on Sunday.
Tejeda, 27, has not played in the majors since last season. He
signed a minor league deal with the Yankees last Dec. 12 and was
reassigned to the team's minor league camp on March 27.

Struggling Texas Rangers first baseman Mike Napoli was placed on the
10-day disabled list, the team announced.
Napoli suffered a lower back strain during Saturday's contest
against the Houston Astros. The move is retroactive to Sunday.
Napoli, 35, is batting just .192 this season but has 11 homers.

The Kansas City Royals recalled right-hander Jakob Junis from
Triple-A Omaha to start Tuesday night's game against the red-hot
Houston Astros.
Junis, 24, will be making his second major league start. He started
against the Minnesota Twins on May 21 and gave up two runs and five
