Prairie Community Foundation is seeking nominations for its 2017
Philanthropist(s) of the Year. An individual, couple, or family will
be honored at the Community Foundation’s Celebrating Local
Philanthropy Luncheon at the Normal Marriott Hotel on Nov. 15, 2017.
Nominees must reside in McLean, DeWitt, Livingston or Logan
counties.
The criteria are outstanding civic responsibility as demonstrated by
contributions of financial resources and voluntary commitment of
time, willingness to serve in leadership roles, and providing vision
and the ability to involve others in philanthropic activity.
Nominations should describe in 250 words or less why the nominee
deserves this recognition.
Past recipients are Jerry and Carole Ringer, Deanna Frautschi and
Alan Bedell, Roger and Mary Hunt, Bob and Julie Dobski, John and Jan
Wohlwend, John and Marilyn Freese, and Darrell and Donna Hartweg.

The deadline for nominations is July 31, 2017. Entries may be
submitted by mail to Illinois Prairie Community Foundation, 2401 E. Washington
St., Suite 300B, Bloomington, IL 61704 or by email to lshepherd@ilprairiecf.org.
Nomination forms are available for download from the Community Foundation’s
website at www.ilprairiecf.org. Illinois Prairie Community Foundation board
