LINCOLN
- The Convoy For Kids Truck Show will once again be rolling
into Mason City for the 10th time, this year on June 17th. This
year’s show will be the biggest yet with several new additions to
the show for everyone to enjoy.
We are expecting to raise enough money this year to put us over 100
K donated to St. Jude. The show was started by brothers Russ & Jim
Harris and Troy Hines. It was held in 2007 in Russ’s backyard with
27 trucks in attendance raising $1,200 for St. Jude. They moved to
Mason City’s Pavilion Park the next year where it has been their
home for the last 8 years. Growing from 27 to a record 77 trucks one
year!

Raising to date over $80,000. This being our 10th year, we
normally end the show with watching Smoky and the Bandit on the side of a van
trailer, we decided to do something bigger!... This year we are going to end
with a boom! A firework show is being planned to entertain all and say Thank You
for your support for the last 10 years.
