The Winnipeg Jets and center Marko Dano agreed to terms on a
one-year, $850,000 contract, the team announced on Tuesday.
Dano, who would have become a restricted free agent on July 1, is
eligible to be exposed to the expansion Vegas Golden Knights if the
Jets opt against protecting him.
The 22-year-old Austrian collected 11 points (four goals, seven
assists) in 38 games with Winnipeg last season. He started the
campaign with the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League and
recorded two assists in six contests.
Dano has scored 17 goals and set up 25 others in 107 career games
with Columbus, the Chicago Blackhawks and Jets since being selected
with the 27th overall pick of the 2013 draft by the Blue Jackets.

Buffalo Sabres goaltender Linus Ullmark signed a two-year, $1.5
million contract, the team announced.
Ullmark appeared in just one contest for the Sabres last season,
spending almost the entire campaign as the starter for Rochester of
the American Hockey League. The 23-year-old joins a crowded crease
in Buffalo, with Robin Lehner as a restricted free agent while
Anders Nilsson is unrestricted.

Ullmark has recorded an 8-11-2 mark with a 2.62
goals-against average and .913 save percentage in 21 career NHL
contests since being selected in the sixth round of the 2012 draft.

Nashville Predators defenseman Yannick Weber signed a one-year,
$650,000 contract, the team announced.
Weber collected one goal, seven assists and 25 penalty minutes while
appearing in a career-high 73 games this past season.
The 28-year-old notched one assist in 22 playoff contests for the
Predators, who advanced to the franchise's first Stanley Cup Final
before falling in six games to the Pittsburgh Penguins. (Editing by
