June 14 (The Sports Xchange) -
The Philadelphia Eagles on Wednesday signed Pro Bowl left tackle
Jason Peters to a one-year contract extension through the 2019
season.
The extension guarantees $15.5 million of the $32.5 million due to
Peters over the next three seasons, according to ESPN's Adam
Schefter.
Peters, 35, had two years remaining on his original deal and was
scheduled to make a base salary of around $10 million per season
with no guaranteed money.
The nine-time Pro Bowler has anchored the Eagles' offensive line
since 2009 when he was acquired in a trade with the Buffalo Bills.

Washington Redskins safety DeAngelo Hall agreed to restructure his
contract and take a pay cut to return to the team for a 14th NFL
season.
The 33-year-old Hall was set to make $4.25 million as a base salary
in 2017 and had a salary cap hit of $5.1 million. He is recovering
from a torn ACL and may not be able to participate in training camp.
The Washington Post reported that his salary will decrease to $2.3
million, with a $500,000 bonus if he makes the Pro Bowl.
- - - Cleveland Browns defensive end and top overall draft pick
Myles Garrett sustained an apparent foot injury while participating
in team drills.
Garrett rushed toward quarterback Brock Osweiler during a two-minute
drill before the play was whistled for a sack. Garrett landed
awkwardly on his left foot as he extended toward Osweiler and fell
to the ground, where he was assessed by a trainer.
Garrett limped into the fieldhouse with teammates at the conclusion
of the session. There was no official report on the severity of the
injury.

after waiving cornerback Taurean Nixon.

spent time on Cincinnati's practice squad (2012-13, 2015).
In 2016, Lewis-Harris played seven games each with Cincinnati and
