Obituary
Linda S. Ayers, 71, of Mount Pulaski passed away
Sunday, June 4, 2017, at Vonderlieth Living Center.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday, June 17 at the Mount
Pulaski Christian Church with burial at Steenbergen
Cemetery.
Linda Sue Duel was born March 3, 1946, in Mason
City, the daughter of John L. and Alura E. McCoy
Duel.
She is survived by daughters Kelly (Randy)
Aylesworth of Mount Pulaski, Kay Ayers of Nashville,
TN.; siblings Norma Price, Ron Duel, Gloria Lenardt,
Judy (Bob) Marsh, Diana (Bob) Hill; and
grandchildren Kamryn Aylesworth and Dixon Aylesworth.
She was preceded in death by her parents and
siblings Jim Duel, Gwen Riddell, Richard Duel and
Christine Seaman.

Linda graduated from Mason City High School in 1964.
She retired from Inland Tool Company as Office
Manager after 30 years of service. Linda was a
member of the Mount Pulaski Christian Church and was
an avid sports fan watching the Chicago Cubs,
Blackhawks and Nascar races. She enjoyed crocheting,
Bingo, playing cards with her sisters and following
her grandkids events.
Memorials may be made to the Mount Pulaski Ambulance
Department.
Peasley Funeral Home is assisting the family with
arrangements.
