Mulch/dirt product available at the Lincoln Landscape Waste Facility

[June 15, 2017]  LINCOLN - Beginning Wednesday June 14, 2017, weather permitting the Lincoln Street Department will provide a loader to load trailers and or trucks with the dirt by-product from the brush grinding that took place earlier this spring. This service is meant for private citizens and city residencies is not required. The loader will be available on June 14th, 21st and 28th between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

This material is like a very fine mulch with the consistency of peat moss. It would be useful in flower beds and gardens and even could be used as a mulch if one chose to. If anyone would like to inspect this product come to the Landscape waste facility At 957 Broadwell Dr. during open hours Monday and Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. There will be a sample at the attendants building for expectation.

The city of Lincoln, Lincoln Street Department or its staff will not be responsible for any damage that may occur to personal property during loading or transporting.
