Lincoln Patriots Trap Team Scores Big Again

[June 21, 2017]    The Lincoln Patriots youth trap team once again this year performed very well at the Shooting Regionals in Sparta.

The team competed against teams from eight states to bring in a third place finish for the Junior Varsity Team on May 20th.

Team members include from left to right: Makayla Stewart of Elkhart, Landen Alcorn of Hopedale, Brandon Batchelder of Mount Pulaski, Brayden Rohlfs of Emden and Ethan Sanborn of Lincoln.

The Patriots also had two who brought home third place finishes in individual contests. Lexis Caslin finished third in the Intermediate Division First Year Shooter Class.

Brandon Batchelder placed third in the Junior Varsity Division.

The team will be looking to add new shooters for the upcoming year. Anyone who is interested in joining the Patriots may contact “Coach Bulldog” at the Lincoln Sportsman Club. Practices are held every Sunday at 10 a.m. at the club.
