			First
			Presbyterian Calendar for June

Lincoln Christian Church KIDS’ WORSHIP—June 2017
			Bamboogie—Honor God

Kids live in a world where there’s a lot of confusing and sometimes
			contradictory
messages about their bodies. On one hand there’s lots of
			encouragement to
exercise regularly, eat healthy foods and stay away from drugs. On
the other hand, we are bombarded with advertisements for junk food,
video games that can occupy lots of time with no physical gain, and
plenty of opportunities to engage in the use of illegal drugs, even
prior to the teen years. So, how can kids find the correct path?

The month of June, during Kids Worship, kids will be discovering
what the Bible says about honoring our bodies God’s way. We’ll find
out that in a spirit of grace and in reliance upon the Holy Spirit,
we each must determine how God is calling us to honor him. For
certain we will discover that our physical bodies, and the way we
care for them, matter to God. Our key verse for June is Romans 6:13,
“Use your whole body for the Glory of God.”

			June Series Titles:
			• God Makes Naaman Pure (We want to be pure before God.) 2 Kings
			5:Colossians 3:17.
