On Saturday morning,
shoppers at the ALMH Farmers Market were treated to a special sneak
peek of work being done on a Lincoln Community Theater upcoming
production, "Pirates the Musical."
The two preview performances drew a packed house in the north barn
at the Logan County Fairgrounds.
The group of young singers and dancers were directed by Sheralyn
Bolton with Tim Searby offering musical accompaniment.
"Pirates is one of two musical productions from the Lincoln Community
Theater this summer. The musical "Oklahoma" began this past weekend
at the Johnston Center for Performing Arts at Lincoln College and
will be performed this coming weekend again with evening productions
of Friday and Saturday beginning at 7:30 p.m. and a 2 p.m. matinee
on Sunday afternoon.
Pirates the Musical will premiere at the Johnston Center on
Thursday, July 13th. There will be four performances - three evening
shows on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., and a 2 p.m.
matinee performance on Sunday, July 16th.
