Carmelo Anthony was sidelined Monday night against the Orlando Magic
after sustaining a sore left knee, New York Knicks coach Jeff
Hornacek announced before the game.
Hornacek said he believes the 32-year-old Anthony injured his knee
while blocking a shot in the second half of the Knicks' 112-105 loss
to the Golden State Warriors on Sunday.

Cleveland Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue did not coach against the Miami
Heat because of an illness he's been battling for at least a week.
Associate head coach Larry Drew, who coached the Atlanta Hawks from
2010-2013 and the Milwaukee Bucks the following season, will take
over for Lue.

The Charlotte Hornets signed forward Johnny O'Bryant to a second
10-day contract.
O'Bryant, 23, signed his first 10-day contract with Charlotte on
Feb. 24. The 6-foot-9 O'Bryant has played in two games with the
Hornets, averaging 8.5 points on 80 percent from the field and 3.0
rebounds in 8.5 minutes per contest.

The Philadelphia 76ers signed forward-center Shawn Long to a 10-day
contract after recalling him from the Delaware 87ers of the NBA
Development League.
Long, 24, originally signed with the Sixers last July before being
waived on Oct. 24 and joining the Sevens.

The Denver Nuggets recalled rookie guard Malik
Beasley from the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA Development League.
In his latest D-League stint, the 20-year-old Beasley appeared in
three games for the Skyforce and averaged 16.0 points, 8.7 rebounds
and 2.7 assists in 29.7 minutes per contest.

The Cavaliers recalled guard Kay Felder from the Canton Charge of
the NBA Development League.

Felder, 21, is averaging 30.6 points, 4.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists
in seven games with the Charge this season.
The 5-foot-9, 176-pound Felder, a second-round pick (54th overall)
in 2016 by the Atlanta Hawks, had his rights acquired by Cleveland
on draft night. He is averaging 4.0 points and 9.5 minutes in 37
