Lincoln Officers complete D.A.R.E. training

Lincoln Police Department Officer Shawn Pettit and Sergeant Miles Craig recently graduated from the D.A.R.E. Officer Training program, held in Plainfield. According to current D.A.R.E. Officer Christy Fruge' the two week-long training event is an intense, and difficult training that involves long days and evenings of studying and preparing lessons that will be used locally in sixth-grade classrooms.

Officer Fruge' noted, "This is a huge accomplishment for both of them, and it shows the dedication they have for the youth in our community."
