Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Letroy Guion was suspended
without pay for the first four games of the 2017 regular season for
violating the NFL's policy on performance enhancing drugs, the
league announced Tuesday.
This marks the second suspension of Guion's career. He was docked
three games in 2015 after an arrest for possession of marijuana and
a firearm.

New York Jets receiver Jalin Marshall has been suspended without pay
for the first four games of the 2017 season for violating the NFL's
policy on performance enhancing substances, the league announced.
Marshall will be eligible to participate in offseason drills as well
as preseason practices and games.

The Los Angeles Chargers released former first-round pick and
offensive lineman D.J. Fluker along with cornerback Brandon Flowers
and wide receiver Stevie Johnson in an effort to clear salary cap
space.
Los Angeles maintained only $5 million in cap space before cutting
the trio of players according to OverTheCap.com. Fluker was owed
$8.821 million in the 2017 season, while Flowers was set to make $7
million.

Wide receiver Torrey Smith and safety Antoine Bethea were released
by the San Francisco 49ers.
Smith, 28, spent two seasons with San Francisco after signing a
five-year, $40 million deal before the 2015 season, catching 53
passes for 930 yards and seven touchdowns.
Bethea started 39 games over the past three seasons for the 49ers.
He had 110 tackles last season while also having one interception
and one forced fumble.

Offensive lineman Joe Reitz announced his retirement from the NFL
after six seasons.
Reitz, 31, spent his entire career with the Indianapolis Colts after
entering the league as an undrafted free agent out of Western
Michigan.

The Buffalo Bills decided not to tender qualifying
offers to defensive end IK Enemkpali and punter Colton Schmidt, the
team announced.
They will become unrestricted free agents on Thursday.
The Bills did tender offers to two other restricted free agents in
guard Ryan Groy and running back Mike Gillislee.

The Carolina Panthers have agreed to re-sign safety Colin Jones to a
new two-year deal.
Jones' deal is worth $2.4 million according to the Charlotte
Observer. The 29-year-old recorded five tackles last season, his
fifth with the Panthers.

The Arizona Cardinals retained Jermaine Gresham after agreeing to a
four-year contract with the tight end, the team announced.
The deal was reached two days before Gresham would have become a
free agent.
Gresham, a two-time Pro Bowl selection, caught 37 passes for 391
yards and two touchdowns last season in his second campaign with the
Cardinals.

The Baltimore Ravens terminated the contracts of safety Kendrick
Lewis and cornerback Shareece Wright, the team announced.
Lewis was entering the final season of a three-year, $5.4 million
deal, while Wright had two seasons remaining on a three-year, $16
