A woman who was stalking Tim Tebow at the New York Mets' spring
training complex at Port St. Lucie, Florida, was arrested on
trespassing charges.
Michelle Marie Thompson, 36, of Arvada, Colorado, was given a
trespassing warning on Feb. 26 and arrested two days later when she
returned to the complex.
Thompson told authorities that she was in a relationship with Tebow,
a former NFL quarterback who is trying his hand at baseball.
Officers asked if the relationship was friendly, platonic, romantic
or matrimonial, and Thompson laughed before saying "all of the
above."
Tebow made one brief comment about the situation.
"I wish her the best and wish she gets the help she needs," Tebow
said.

The Chicago
Cubs signed 2016 National League SVP Kris Bryant to a $1.05 million,
one-year deal, making him the highest-paid player after a second
year of service in major league history.
The third baseman's deal breaks the previous record set by Los
Angeles Angels center fielder Mike Trout, who re-signed with his
team for $1 million in 2014. FanRag Sports first reported Bryant's
new contract and it was later confirmed by multiple media outlets.
Bryant was set to make to $652,000 this season and he will not be
eligible for arbitration until the 2018 season.
