							Norma Jane Schroeder, 90, of Lincoln, passed away at 
							6:08 a.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at The Christian 
							Village in Lincoln.
 Norma was born on November 26, 1926 in Lincoln, 
							daughter of S. Harold and Ruth (Crumback) Fay. After 
							Ruth’s passing, S. Harold and Dorothy L. (Crumback) 
							Fay raised Norma.
 
 Norma married Paul Cosby on January 17, 1945 he 
							preceded her in death. She later married Paul 
							Schroeder on April 21, 1978. He preceded her in 
							death on August 7, 2004.
 
 Norma is survived by her son, Robert T. (Mona) Cosby 
							from Broadwell, two daughters, Barbara (Rodney) 
							Oltmanns of Elkhart, and Ruthie L. (Lester) Marten 
							of New Holland, one sister, Linda S. Fay of Chicago, 
							step son, Dale E. (Kathy) Schroeder; two step 
							daughters, Connie R. (Steve) Haseley, and Cathy A. 
							Baker; seven grandchildren, 23 great-grand-children, 
							and four great-great-grandchildren.
 
 She was preceded in death by her parents and one 
							sister, Ruth Lucille.

							Norma retired from Regions bank in Lincoln; she also 
							worked at the ASCS office. Norma enjoyed being 
							outdoors and traveling. She was a lifeguard when she 
							was younger and has always loved being near water; 
							especially the beaches in Florida. Norma enjoyed 
							serving the Church, food pantry, and her neighbors; 
							her volunteering was a true labor of love.
 Services for Norma will be held at 11:00 a.m. on 
							Friday, March 10, 2017 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader 
							Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Rev. Mark Thompson 
							officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior 
							to the service (9:00-11:00 a.m.) on Friday, March 
							10, 2017 also at the funeral home. Burial will take 
							place after the services at Zion Cemetery.
 
 Memorial donations may be made in Norma’s name to 
							Zion Lutheran Church or Broadwell Christian Church.
