The Lynx Men played a great game Saturday, staying close
throughout and taking the lead several times even though Parkland
was ranked number one going into the tournament. The Lynx tied it up
near the two-minute mark but were unable to hang on, with Parkland
winning 67-62.
The Lynx made it into the final game on Saturday, after defeating #3
seed and host school, Rend Lake Community College in the opening
round Thursday, March 9, and then going on to defeat #2 seeded John
Wood Community College Friday night.
In the Thursday game, Rend Lake College was tough in the first half
and took a 16-point lead into the break (46-30). The Lynx came out
fired up in the second half and turned the tables on the Warriors to
erase the deficit and pull off a 77-74 victory. Trayvon Tyler led
Lincoln with 30 points followed by Ryan Hill with 13.

On Friday, the Lynx Men pulled off another upset as they brought
down John Wood 81-66.
