LJHS Wrestlers compete in state finals - finish 19th overall

[March 12, 2017]    Lincoln Junior High Trojan Wrestlers finished in 19th place out of 112 teams that completed at this weekend’s IESA state wrestling finals in DeKalb at the NIU convocation center.

In the 119 lb., Austin O’Donoghue went 5-1 to finish his season with a 45-1 record and 3rd place.

Isaiah Sweitzer at 1585 lb. went 3-3 with his season ending with a 38-5 record to finish in 6th place.

To finish his season 36-5, 145 lb. Tony Gandolfi went 0-1.

It was a very tuff tournament and the Trojans represented LJHS and Logan County very well.

Both Coach Dawson and Coach Landers are very proud of how the boys battled over to two days of the tournament.
