NOTICE TO THE ELDERLY AND PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
IN PERSON, BY MAIL
AND GRACE PERIOD REGISTRATION AND VOTING
FOR THE APRIL 4, 2017 CONSOLIDATED GENERAL ELECTION

Are you registered to vote in Logan County? You can call our office at (217)732-4148, email us at elections@logancountyil.gov or check on line through our website at: www.logancountyil.gov.  The April 4 Consolidated General Election will elect those to serve our municipalities, schools, parks, libraries, townships, fire, community college, and regional school districts, as well as referenda.

Citizens who cannot leave their home or nursing home facility because of permanent physical disability and are not registered to vote, may arrange for voter registration by contacting the Office of the Logan County Clerk. Grace Period Registration may be offered by request through the County Clerk.

Any qualified resident may register to vote at the Office of the Logan County Clerk located in Room 20 of the Logan County Courthouse, Lincoln, Illinois Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during Grace Period Registration and Voting. Two forms of identification are required to register; one must display your current address. Grace Period Registration and transfer of registration is available now in the Office of the Logan County Clerk and continues through April 4.

If you are registered to vote and choose not to vote at your polling place on Election Day for any reason, you have several alternatives. Vote by Mail is available for all registered voters and you may now make application for a Ballot by Mail. Applications to Vote by Mail can be obtained on the County Clerk’s website: www.logancountyil.gov under Election Information, or through a request in person, by mail, email, or telephone at the Office of the County Clerk. The last day an Application to Vote may be received by mail, and the last day a Vote by Mail Ballot may be sent from the Office of the County Clerk is March 30, 2017. Vote by Mail Ballots and Early Vote Ballots will be available on Monday, March 13. Contact the Office of the County Clerk to receive further Voter Registration information, an Application to Vote by Mail, or Early Voting information, or visit the Logan County Clerk website at www.logancountyil.gov for up-to-date information and forms.

All polling places in Logan County, as well as the Office of the County Clerk, are accessible to persons with disabilities.
