Mathias (Harristown), Rogers, Cooper and Rankin. The Lynx stole
seven bases on the day lead by Rylee Martin who stole two bases
during the five inning game.
Freshman pitcher Skylar Doughtery (1-1) from Chatham picked up the
win allowing no runs and striking out four batters for the Lynx
before being relieved by Erin Rankin in the third inning.
LC Softball coach Crystal Wurth: "Our trip to Myrtle Beach was a
success. We came down here to put some runs on the board and execute
solid defense and to work our pitchers. Everyone had multiple
chances to play and we were even fortunate to move our defense
around as we have players that can play multiple positions.

We are sad to Leave Myrtle Beach and the great weather we had while
at Spring Training, but the coaching staff and players are all
really excited to get back home and start conference play. We want
to show our family, friends and community how hard we have been
working and how truly well we play together. We are going to take a
few teams by surprise this year. Our home opener is this sat. we
would love to see a big crowd at our first conference game".
